Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating a Burndecks account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Burndecks.

2. The Service

Burndecks is an AI-powered pitch deck builder. You provide text, images, and brand assets; our AI generates slide decks that you can edit, present, and share. The service is provided "as is" and we may update features, pricing, or availability at any time.

3. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and are responsible for maintaining the security of your password. You may not share credentials or let others access your account.

4. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you upload (logos, text, images). AI-generated deck content created through Burndecks is yours to use commercially. We retain no ownership rights over your decks.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to generate illegal, fraudulent, or misleading content.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the AI system.
  • Exceed your plan limits through automated or bulk API abuse.
  • Upload content that infringes on the intellectual property of others.

6. Billing & Refunds

Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. Metered usage (additional decks, AI turns, AI images beyond your plan allowance) is billed at the end of each billing period. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from the Settings page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — email hi@burndecks.com.

7. AI Limitations

AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all deck content before presenting or sharing it. Burndecks is not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated material.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings.

9. Limitation of Liability

Burndecks liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
